We want to make your project and enjoyable experience. We start with an in-home consultation. Together, we will discuss your project in detail. As we review your design, we'll answer any questions or concerns you may have. We pride ourselves on customer service, giving you the one on one attention to help make this not only a pleasurable experience but to also create a wonderful transformation.

Upon The Rock works with several local warehouses that offer a huge selection of granite and marble slabs. To ensure your satisfaction, we will go to as many of the granite and marble warehouses as needed to select just the right stone for your job. Measuring and Templating

Our template crew visits your project site to take measurements, make a template, and note the specific details of the job. During the template it is best to be present and communicate with our template staff to make sure we get the perfect snapshot of the job before entering fabrication process.

Granite and Marble Fabrication

Once your templates are completed and approved, we are ready to start fabricating your project. The master craftsmen that make up our fabrication team uses state-of-the-art machinery to cut and process your pieces. All work is polished, finished and inspected to ensure the highest quality finish. Our fabrication shop is located in Wake Forest, NC.

Custom Installation

5-7 business days after your templates are completed, you will be ready for  Upon The Rock's professional installation crew to install your new granite or marble countertops. Upon The Rock's professional installation crew will install your new granite or marble. We also offer a large sink selection, tile back splashes, plumbing and tear out and removal services. Our goal is to make each and every project a work of art.

About granite and marble

Granite - is much older and harder than marble and is actually igneous rock formed mainly of feldspar and quartz, usually with traces of mica or hornblende. Granite can be highly polished to expose all of its natural characteristics, honed for a matt finish or flame-textured for an aged, antique finish. These finishes are sometimes combined to produce interesting patterns and features. Granite is tremendously popular for its aesthetic looks and its hardwearing, almost maintenance-free qualities. Which are used for kitchen Counter tops and Vanity tops.

Marble - is usually highly polished to highlight its' wonderful natural characteristics. However, it is also available in a matt (honed) finish or an aged (antiqued) finish for a more traditional look. Marble has been used for centuries as a structural and decorative building material and the many famous buildings that still exist today, such as the Coliseum and Pantheon in Rome, are a fitting tribute to the skilled craftsmen of the day and the tremendous durability of marble itself.
